evidence of a possible broken gameplay element in Madden 10

In the picture shown in the blog talking about tackle assist and half sacks, there appears to be way too many sacks for a single game (I think it shows that there were 7 total.)

In 2005, there were 1182 sacks averaging out to 2.3 sacks per 2007 NFL season, there were 1102 total sacks so the average team was sacked 2.2 times per team per game. In In 2006, there were 1164 sacks averaging out to 2.3 sacks per team per game. In 2007 , there were 1102 sacks averaging out to sacks 2.2 times per team per game.

If the screenshot was in Franchise or Superstar mode, than please ignore this topic, but 7 sacks in one game is way to much.

Not really. Watch the 49ers play. They give up about 7 sacks/ game.........Well I can recall atleast 2 games off the top of my head this past year where we gave up 7 sacks. Mostly when JTO was at qb.

Im not saying its the norm but its possible. But IMO these look like franchise stats after week 2-3.

6 Months before the game comes out, and your saying that there might be a broken gameplay element?

We know nothing about the situation that these stats were taken under, so we have no idea how many games have been played with this number of sacks.

It's from Franchise mode. Week 3 or 4 if I remember correctly.

On the other hand, I see that you still have to hold LT to switch teams and RT to switch categories, which I consider a broken element of Madden 10. Unless it gets changed.
