Defensive Pursuit- Please Adjust

As is stands now, the defenders pursue the ball in an uncoordinated effort. They basically get in each others way, and take bad angles to cut off ball carrier as he runs up field.

It looks as if its by design as well. The runner is going up the sideline and every defender on the field is in a train directly behind him. Nobody cuts the ball off or forces the runner back into traffic.

Also, Why don't the defenders block for each other on turnovers...in the NFL the defense creeates a convoy to the endzone for the player who got the turnover. even if they don't score the point is to change field position.

It should be harder to score in Madden...field position really doesn't mean much when you can score in one or two plays from anywhere on the field.

I agree.. and I'd like to see defenders from across the field, take a very early angle when they know that the player is potentially about to break away. And kickoffs need work too, as of now, they run straight down the field.. in real life, they "fence" , which hopefully someone up there at EA knows.

you can manipulate the defense easily. you turn to the inside and every defender turns at the exact same time in the exact same direction and then you just turn back out and burst around em if they are lineman.
