I don't think it's ridiculous for anyone to be able to catch the football. Remember week 1 the Bills DE Denney caught a TD pass from I believe Moorman nonetheless, and what about all the time Bruschi caught TD passes. Granted anything over 10 yards should be nearly impossible for them to catch but it does happen.
