I don't know why it's taken me so long to understand this but what exactly is the feature I'm seeing where my quarterback's little 'exclamation mark' icon starts filling up with color? Is this something happening on its own? Am I doing something? What is it called and how do I use it? I vaguely remember this being in earlier versions but don't know how to use it.

Sorry if this is obvious. Can someone explain?

It's a lightbulb if we are talking about the same thing. It's a "smart quarterback" weapon icon. It fills up on its own, and when it's filled all the way, you can activate it (I don't remember which button) and read the defense's play.

So how does it get filled exactly and why do other players have it as well?
