Exactly. There have been articles in business magazines about how large EA's R&D budget has been and financially it just doesn't make sense for them to build an entirely new engine, no matter how much some of us want them to do so.

Agreed. They should be consolidated or something. It's great that Ian is soliciting community feedback and great that there are so many ideas popping up in response to it, but there has to be a better way to organize the situation. We don't need polls for every little detail of the game.

As someone said a few posts up, they scrapped the entire game when going to current-gen. Scrapping would just set it back it back by a few years. There is no point to it. There are flaws in the game, but by no mean is it in complete shambles.

I wish they could start over...but it's just too late now, in my opinion.

Looks like we'll just have to hope tweaking whats in place now, can make a nice difference.
