Even if the DB is one yard from the WR but the db has his back turned to the ball, he cannot locate it will only put his hands up and try to strip and jar loose when the ball is caught.
Vision of the ball is so important. If you can't see it, only a prayer will help you swat it.
If the WR has separatation and can see the ball but the DB cannot, the WR should be able to adjust his route and DB do nothing until the ball is caught.
The Failed Swat-Midair hitstick is so stupid as shown in Gideon's video.
I beat a DB clean and his misses the swat, and then he ****en gets to hitstick me. Thats so stupid.
But since Ian has said that he's trying to make it as sim as possible i'm 100% certain this will be gone.
I think he said it was his original intent for the failswat-big hit animation to exist, but looking back, its obviously a bad idea.
