Wrong Personnel usage in formations

Okay I am not sure if many of you you have noticed this but in the game some defenses use the wrong personnel on certain formations. My most noticeble example is with the Ravens defense, more specifically the front 7. Now for starters they run a hybrid defense (3-4/4-3) and for the 3-4 they have the right personnel which is:
DE- Haloti Ngata

NT- Kelly Gregg
DE- Trevor Pryce
OLB- Jarret Johnson
OLB- Terrell Suggs
ILB- Ray Lewis
ILB- Bart Scott

Now this is how their defense looked before Gregg got hurt and they had to move Ngata to NT and Bannan to DE. Now for my issue with the personnel. In the game they have the 46 (should be the 4-3 but thats another issue all together) and for some reason when they move to the "4-3" aligment all they do is bring in Bannan to DT and remove Bart Scott at ILB so the defense looks like this:

DE- Haloti Ngata
DT- Kelly Gregg
DT- Justin Bannan
DE- Trevor Pryce
OLB- Jarret Johnson
OLB- Terrell Suggs
MLB- Ray Lewis

Well that personnel is WRONG, for starters Haloti Ngata is 6'4 355 LBS!!!! He is NOT a 4-3 DE he is a DT and thus when they play the 4-3 he moves INSIDE to DT, Terrel Suggs moves outside to replace him at DE and Bart Scott moves to OLB to replace him. The defense in fact looks like this in real life:

DE- Trevor Pryce
OLB- Jarret Johnson
OLB- Bart Scott
MLB- Ray Lewis

Heck I even remember that last year Suggs had an issue with the Ravens and filed a grievance because they had put the Linebacker tag on him which pays $814,000 less than that of a DE (http://www.usatoday.com/sports/footb...rievance_N.htm). The league decided to split the both tags in the middle and give him an LB/DE hybrid tag because they came to the agreement that he is both a DE and LB. I know the Ravens have lost Bart Scott and someone will replace him but can you guys look to see if you can get the right personnel on the field? I know the Cowboys and Chargers move Merriman and Ware to DE when they go with a 4 defensive line fornt since they are their pass rushing specialist. I am sure there are more guys "out of place" out there in the game so if some of you guys have noticed them please post them to help out the developers.

Hopefully, if the formations subs are re-done, and we're allowed to substitute by formation when the game is paused, It won't matter if EA gets the personnel right or not; you'll be able to do it yourself. The way the formation subs were implemented in Madden 09 was totally assinine; there isn't enough time to make the desired substitutions during the playcall screen.

Good post and this has been brought up before in the Head Coach forum. If I remember correctly they had a "create a play" mode that let you edit all of your current playbook's plays and change who was playing what position on that play. That is what I would like to see so we can change it at least and make our own as well.

....o yeah, about Haloti Ngata at Dend in a 4-3 D. I would use him on most downs if I didnt have any good pass rushing ends to put in on obvious passing downs(3rd down n long) because he can take up blocks and space in real life and help the rest of the D perform.

Thanks, I just want the best/right personnel on the field when I am playing. They should make it so that we have players on specific formations/situations. Another example; Kevin Faulk comes in almost every single time that we use the shotgun and Maroney and Morris comes in for the egular runnning plays.
