The kicking game needs to be addressed for Madden 10

The kick meter should be a thing of the past. APF 2k8 really did a good job having the user feel like he is the kicker/punter. Any hints to what you have in store for us Ian or are you tweaking the current kicking meter?

The visual implementation of the ball flying through the air and going through the uprights is also terrible. That cam switch that occurs before it goes through is so sudden and unexpected that you totally lose track of what happened. I basically kick and then just wait for the scoreboard to tell me what happened because honestly I can't tell.

In the CG game the camera follows the ball 100% of the way from behind so you can clearly see what happens. It also makes for great suspense on those long kicks in crucial situations where you aren't exactly sure if its going to make it over the cross bar or not.

In NG the suspense is gone and replaced with ... I don't know... just guess work.. did I make it?... no clue...
