who said u can't use both. during the season some games are on espn some games are on cbs. and some are on the nfl network. they could just do an ea network nfl and espn. all the behind the scenes reporting i.e trades free agency and dust up in the locker rooms could be on the nfl newtwork and the games could alternate on all three channels . i know it wont happen but just a thought for the future.

That would probably create a bigger conflict than what there already is now in terms of this. It would be cool though.

My bet is that the NFL said no.

Re: ESPN intergration this year?

Why would you want to use EA sports broadcasting, when you have ESPN behind you? This makes no sense. First off, why waste your money on the licence just so nobody else has it. Second, why would ESPN even want Madden to have it then?

At the very least, use NFL Network as the broadcast, EA Sports broadcasting is lame. EA Sports? Its the NFL!!!!!!

It isn't a waste of money, EA is only company who can use ESPN. Thats pretty powerful even if they dont use it. I am pretty sure All pro would have sold more if they still had the ESPN license.

I disagree I think 2K Sports can use any generic name and crew and if they do it right most people would careless. Like most of us careless what name or crew Madden uses as long as its done right. The NFL license is whats hurting 2K Sports not the Espn license.
