And also, I'd love their to be a clutch factor like in nba2k9. It made crunch time so awesome.

Like have regularseason clutch rating (peyton manning) and playoff clutch rating (t.brady).
I would really like to see that feature in Madden.

AWR is a wasted stat for WR/QB/HB in this game.. It only comes into affect when the computer is controlling your players in simulation. A character with great stats on this game and low AWR might not be too good for simulated stats but playing with them during the game it makes no difference.

I hate to mention the vision cone again, but that's when a lot of "SIM" players figured out they didnt really want a game that was really "SIM" because it cut out a lot of that bs passing crap. Funny thing is the hardcore "Madden NAtion" players everyone acts like are not true "SIM" players were the ones complainging the least. Now we have procedural AWR for quarterbacks which IMHO doesnt really change gameplay all that much, unless you have to hit a button to make your QB look at the WR he is about to throw to, otherwise it's just some new animation that doesn't affect the problem with no differentiation between low and high AWR QBs.

I'm not sure how I came to this conclusion, but I was always under the assumption that AWR worked as a bonus modifier to your teammates. I've had QB's with low AWR come in and have a huge effect on my OL performance, the routes my WR run and their catching. It kind of translates well to real football in the sense that a QB with low AWR, IRL, will have a tough time staying 'in the pocket' and the OL can't keep track of him back there and the WR catching is all about throwing catchable balls and making the same route reads as WR. If that's not already the case, then I feel that it is the most realistic translation.

Id be happy with awareness effecting computer controlled qb's decision making, say brees is more likely to make his check downs to an open receiver while vince young tosses it into 2x coverage.

for a running back, awareness effects their ability to reckognize the best whole to run through.
