Ian, Please Do Something About CPU Running!

It's a shame that with the Lions I hold Brandon Jacobs to 40 yards rushing. This has been a Madden problem for a long time now. I'm sure many feel the same way.

Im assuming by now they know this was a big issue with 09. The lack of CPU running game was high on my "things that killed the game list" for me.

No.... it's a broken feature of the game. It has nothing to do with having a good defense.

You can adjust your sliders all the way to 20 (supposed to be the most difficult to stop the run) and the cpu will still be horrible at running the ball. There is nothing more you can do to make the cpu run better in 09.

I agree. I routinely hold the CPU to about 2 YPC.

Im not defending it, but im scared to face Clinton Portis and Brandon Jacobs, they seem to have their best games against me. One game that comes to mind, i was playing New York and i think they were 2 games back in the division race and Jacobs single handely beat me. My offense was terrible, but my defense couldnt stop him. i finally late in the 4th made the game 16-13 the next possesion He runs off tackle left runs over a guy or 2 and he was gone. I ended up losing 23-13.

See..... that's what I'm talking about.... I wish I could feel the same way. It would be so awesome to actually game plan and be affraid of really good RB's like that. I'm surprised to hear the the cpu can run against you. Are you playing on the 360 ?
