Belichick has proven he still can build an untouchable team. do you not realize after their first game and the "spygate" scandal, he went on to win the rest of the games in the season?

I don't recall the spygate ever getting brought up since that season.

They gave up the draft pick. Who gives. We still win.

Hard to be jealous of cheating. It's just as bad as steroids in baseball. Ur team had an edge over everyone becuz of video taping teams. And it's funny how the NFL destroyed the tapes without allowing anyone to we them. If those tapes were shown, it would of really made the NFL look bad. That's why they threw them out. Speaking as a Lions fan, I was a bit shellshocked last season. After all, in 07 we had a good campaign, unfortunately bottling it at the end a bit, so for 08 I figured we'd be in a good position to challenge for the division.

The Packers had just lost their iconic QB, the Vikings didn't have a good QB, the Bears were a mess, and we had great young receivers, a solid QB and an improved running game.

And in the end, I was proved right in many ways. Yes, we lost every game, but in my view we contested nearly every game closely, and actually played better offensively than in 07. Yet again, however, the defense let us down time after time.

Anyway, the new logo is great, we have a great stadium, and hopefully if new uniforms are on the way, then it will mean a fresh start and hopefully a winning season (we can all hope).

Besides, does anyone have an idea who the number one pick will be? Not another wide receiver hopefully lol...

LOL last time I checked, ur not a moderator on here. To make sure all of my posts in here aren't all off topic, Calvin Johnson is a beast at wr. Surround him with some talent and the lions could contend sooner rather than later.

But as far as that woody2goody character, slow ur roll. Last time I checked they aren't holding try outs to be mods on here. Plus most of the time threads go off topic, but somehow it all involves football anyway LOL
