Re: Deal Breakers?

I don't have any deal breakers really.

Outside of Adaptive AI, I was hanging my hopes on improved player interactions (OL/DL, WR/CB) like everyone else and also refs & chain gang. Early on, it seems both of those areas have gotten some attention. I'm confident that the gameplay will reflect that of a sim, so barring some catastrophe, I'm all in.

I knew you'd start to crack . You mentioned weeks ago that you'd basically be taking a hiatus and "see us next year." Whenever people say that, they can normally never stay away. Deep down, they're sports videogame fans and NFL junkies just like the rest of us. You can call yourself a ***** and all, but I don't buy it .

Re: Deal Breakers?

For Madden 10 to be better than 09. I can't wait to stop playing 09. What will Madden 10 need to make me HAPPY with it? Unrivaled presentation and the return of the glory days of franchise mode ala ps2/NGC/Xbawks.

Re: Deal Breakers?

I am one of those players EA counts on to buy Madden becasue it is the new Madden. However, just becasue it is the new Madden doesn't mean I will be happy with it.

Thanks to Tom Brady and the Competition Committee (Or the Protectors of the QB Committee) you won't be seeing this anymore on Sunday, which means we shouldn't see it in Madden...

Re: Deal Breakers?

Ian and crew has already made me a believer so Madden will be a day 1 purchase for me. This year I was going to rent the game first, but the way that Ian and rest of the dev team interacts here has changed my mind. What put it over the top was when Ian posted the message congratulating the MLB The Show 09 team.

I think that only pertains to lunging at the QB if a player is on the ground. Just because he's on the ground doesn't mean he's out of the play. Crawl over to the QB and pull his @$$ to the ground.

My understanding is he has to get up before he can hit him again. Could be wrong though.
