NFL and NFLPA's role in the content in Madden (quick question for the devs)

How big is the NFL and NFLPA's influence into what does and doesn't go into Madden? Obviously they have the final say-so but are they more hands off or are there a bunch of restrictions? I remember hearing a while back that for some reason the NFL didn't want players' tats depicted in the next gen versions of the game which didn't make sense to me since the last gen versions have the tattoo parlor in Superstar mode. What about holdouts during training camp in Franchise? Would they view that as something too "negative" to be put into their game even though it happens just about every season?

Dunno if anyone has ever asked this before but I think it'd be kind of interesting to know.

Roger Goodell is such a JOKE, Im surprised he allows the game to have penalty's.

I don't mind Goodell so much. I like his preaching of accountability, and he's trying to give us 17 or 18 games a season so I can't really talk bad about the man lol.

I personally like the phrase "See it on Sundays, see it in the game."
Tattoos, holdouts, etc. should all be allowed in Madden.

The Jets would need that extra game or two wouldn't they?

I personally feel the 16 game season is fine. 17 AT MOST.
The preseason is where some of these kids get their only chances to play, or prove themselves (barring injury). At least give them 3-4 games to try to prove themselves.

That's Ian and his team's mantra but if there are restrictions being placed on them by the NFL and PA I think it'd be helpful if they could shed some light on them so we have a better idea of what exactly they can and can't give us.

He is delusional, the guy wants a team in London where they would never lose at home and never win on the road. the team would be 8-8 every year. Plus he is way to strict on the fun stuff like celebrations.

I believe there's also something about the person foul penalties. Like flagrant late hits.
