They could go really deep with this, but choose not to. Either not enough space, time, or whatever the case is, its not being implemented real well, and its not worth playing.

as of this point and probably for awhile

Franchise>>>>>SS Mode

even as of now.

But from my understanding if Franchise is getting a huge overhaul

I agree 100%

Re: Superstar

I personally feel that if they're not going to make a significant amount of changes for SS Mode, they should just scrap it and use all that extra space to improve presentation and create-a-playbook, team, player, etc.

Superstar mode is a waste of space.

Re: Superstar

Would you rather them waste time removing it? Or spend that time implementing new features in other areas?

Re: Superstar

It wouldn't take much time at all to remove it.

i agree with most of the stuff you said at first but i don't see how Franchise Mode is better than SS Mode... but obviously it is a matter of opinion... i just dont see how people can sit there & play against the computer, at least in SS Mode you only play as one player & from only his perspective but it does need an improvement, as does all of Madden

& in response to others, i dont see why you would suggest getting rid of it to "free up space" the Madden team should be able to improve both Franchise & SS Mode on the space they have now

Re: Superstar

I really want to play superstar mode, but as is it's really not fun. I don't expect they'll do much with it this time around, but the gameplay improvements might make the dent necessary.

I wish they'd stop backing up the camera... part of the allure of superstar mode should be being down there in the action instead of way above the field. I realize you've gotta be able to see stuff, but not nearly as much as when you're controlling everyone... they can tighten it a little bit. They did that at first, but now it's backed basically out to the normal game camera.
