Real Injuries - Where Are They?

I really hope we do see real-time non-gruesome injuries since the NFL won't allow us to have anything severe.
As long as one of those improvements include not knowing about injury the second it happens I'm happy.

Im fascinated by the NFL isnt keen on having TOO serious injures in video games featuring it. Do they really sit up at night fretting over that? I dont get it.

To the NFL, Madden is a marketing tool. They aren't going to permit anything to get into the game that reflects badly on the league.

It's a pretty common theme with the NFL. They're very restrictive with their license. That's why you don't see movies with real football teams in it. Any Given Sunday was written as an NFL movie. Other leagues aren't much different... MLB is a tad more forgiving... but then, portraying MLB players of the steroid era the way Any Given Sunday portrayed football players would be a compliment.

I am all for it.
However, I do understand why EA can't implement "Serious" injuries. It makes sense....
