Is it in the lighting?

I was going through some screen shots and one of the things that has bothered me about how maden 09 looks is how dark the game is. Here are some screens from 06-09. I noticed that 09 is the hardest to see the faces of the players adn that has bothered me a lot with 09. I also know that when I played 08 [the first next gen I owned] I could clearly see the players faces durring post play and in 09 I just se darkened helmets and I really have to zoom in to see any real detail and even then it is VERY dark and filled with shadows. My TV is set to mx brightness and my friend's HDTV and PS3 Madden 09 has the same problem with how dark and shadowy everything is.

The screns don't quite do this justice, but even the 09 screen you can see things are darker. If there a setting in 09 I don't know about to reduce the shadows or improve the lighting?
