Not to mock your math but if he was 1-4 against them then if not for that one call he would be 0-5. Not only would they have not won the game, it would have also added one to their losses.

As far as the bears being less talented how do you figure? They have a much better defense, a better running back, and now a better quarterback. The broncos do have better receivers but where else do they really have an advantage.

I really don't like the guy either. I know some annoying broncos fans. However, now that he is in chicago I can look at him more objectively and say that although he isn't a great QB right now he is good and has the physical ability to allow him to possibly become great.

Umm... problem. You must take human error into account. That's part of football. Rules and the way they are enforced are all part of the game. Can you take away the Pat's first title because of the infamous "tuck" rule? No. Rules and ref's are part of the game. If a ref whistles a pass incomplete, it cannot be challenged. Sorry. Heck, if there was no such thing as refs deciding games, the Bears would have won the game vs. Tampa Bay when Peanut Tillman was called for an Unsportsmanlike Conduct (maybe roughness, don't remember exactly) on third down with Tampa Bay backed up inside their 15. He was breaking up a fight (actually, a Bucs player took a swing at Alex Brown, and Tillman knocked that guy off of the pile), but was called for a penalty. The Bucs scored on that drive and won the game. But the Bears didn't get a win for it, and neither does San Diego. The Bears would have made the playoffs without that call too. (I am a bitter Bears fan, lol)

Re: CUTLER TO CHICAGO

The bears paid way too much!!!
Two 1st, a 3rd and orton?!?!... while cutler is an upgrade on orton, i really didn't think it was as much a priority as their oline or defense. Their defense was the reason they didn't make the playoffs last year... not the qb.
I think this will handicap them in the coming years... especially bearing in mind their wide receiving corp is as bad as any in the league... do they really need to cutler to just throw check downs to forte?!?!?

I would add Warner and Eli to that list.

I understand you're slightly biased but Rivers is not a better QB than Ben, Brees, or Warner.

Cutler is a POS. I live in Denver and hope that there is a bounty out on him when he comes back here in August. I would like nothing more than to see him suffer a season ending injury in that game. Petulant little punk.
