Any Chance?

That we'll be able to trade for future draft picks?

Re: Any Chance?

No word yet, I'd give it a 33% likelihood.

Re: Any Chance?

I hope so. 2K5 allowed this, and it makes Franchise mode a bit more interesting and realistic.

Re: Any Chance?

Yet again, another great thread about Franchise (not being sarcastic).

Todays trade says it all as far as the importance of future picks.

(I would like to see more than 3 slots available in Franchise trading as well.

Re: Any Chance?

As long as the value of future draft picks is calculated accordingly I'd say this is a must....

Is there a rule in the NFL that says how far ahead you can trade your picks or is it just next season?

Thank you sir. I appreciate that. I would also like to see more than three slots available.

Re: Any Chance?

I have to agree 100% with brothers here that being able to trade draft picks is needed.

Its also the way most trades are done in the NFL.

I hope this does make it.

Nice thread OP.

Re: Any Chance?

Here's my reasoning behind why I said 33%... there's 1 point for it and 2 against it...

+1 Donny Moore and Josh Looman
-1 Never been in Madden
-1 Based on tiny, barely franchise related stuff I've heard, it's not going to be the total rewrite I was hoping, but rather an overhaul of what actually exists (which is fine, but there might not be the functionality this year to do it).

SO 33%. Now if it is done, I can't imagine they'll change the logic much from what Head Coach used, and the trade logic was very good in that game (well, outside of the odd trading out of a draft spot and using the same picks to trade back into the next draft spot now and then:P)
