Ok, im going out on a limb with this ,but here me out.

Madden has been less then stellar for sometime now, disappointing fans on many levels leaving them to feel as if their cries were bouncing off the earmuffs of corporate fat-cats.

For that reason I suggest a little fan appreciation.

People that either pre-order or buy the game on the first day of its release ( Madden Fan Appreciation Day) get the game at 49.99 instead of the normal 59.99.

This along with the normal marketing and buzz will show that 2010 is a new year with a new attitude.

I dont see it happening although itd be nice. Just the pure amount of money that would be "lost" from the business standpoint would be astronomical(sp). Even at 1 dollar off if they sold a million copies of madden that first day then they are losing one million dollars. At 10 bucks off its 10 million...

We all know that's never gonna happen...It's the Madden Money Machine for a reason people! But it would be a very pleasant surprise nonetheless.

If the price of games dropped 20 bucks, I'd be buying at least 1 a paycheck, probably more. I'm not sure how much of the 60 dollar price tag has hurt people's ability to purchase games casually, but ti's destroyed mine. Last gen, I'd buy games constantly. It's amazing what a difference 10-20 bucks makes.
