Wr would be my thought if they don't address the secondary. Mason can't play forever can he?

Darry Beckwith, LSU, ILB
Beckwith a big time hitter...should be able to replace Antonio Pierce at MLB by 2010.

WHAT? XD Pierce isn't going anywhere. He's been the anchor of that defense the past 4 years. He's only 30. No way he's going to be replaced within a year.

I don't think the Eagles pick Loadholt (sp?), I don't think they've expressed any interest in that kid. They're going to get a tackle in the draft, not sure it's going to be that kid.

Pierce is starting to trend down, numbers speak for themselves IMO.

Pierce agreed to a six-year, $26 million contract that includes a $6.5 million signing bonus in 2008.

So in 2010, he is one year older + his contract will be an issue very soon. I felt that was not a reach in analysis, but you are the Giants fan. I'm not entirely sure I understand your reasoning from your quick comment above, but thanks for the feedback. Hope it was a good read for you.

Good point. Yet another good sign of logic from our Franchise Gurus!

Yeah, but I really think McRath is a better all around player than Beckwith. McRath is a machine and I hope alot of people pass on him if you get what I'm saying LOL. I'd rather the Ravens take a WR in round 1 and come back and take McRath in round 2 or take Franz Joseph in round 3. Franz Josoph is another machine at MLB.
