The first two are of course huge NFL Stars. That's why 2K was so off the charts back then. They just took it the extra mile where nobody else would.

I think the MoCap focus would be great for QB'ing. The most notable stances, tendencies and releases (at least I think) are from Peyton Manning (lots of moving around after his drop) and Philip Rivers (awkward sidearm delivery). Then after that they can get generics for the rest.

Wow I had no idea they mo-capped those guys. Some great talent right there. Thanx for that nugget of info. I guess you can get pros in there to do a great job.

Guess it's a mix of talent on the athletes part and the developers/animators.

Actually MLB the Show has a guy come in that emulates the stances and deliveries. They don't have actual players come in.

The PS1 gamedays had something like 32 NFL players mo cap. It could have been 10-15. Damnit i forgot.

But they had a lot!
