No historic roster for M10.

I gotta go with Ian on this one. It's not worth it. I've been editing historic teams on 2k5 and Madden LegacyGen for years and the most annoying aspect of it is the fact that they can't even give you the right number or height and weight. There can be no real similarity with the real player except maybe skin tone.

What I would like to see is the ability to take an existing roster and simply clear the players. Basically global delete. Then I can edit the rosters, adding created players at my leisure... plus the ability to import individual teams into other modes from that roster set.

In otherwords, load up the base roster, clear all players from it. Then, I can create the (for example) '89 49ers on the 49ers roster. I'm still stuck with the base 49ers uniforms, logos, stadium, etc., but I add all my own players. Then, if I go into Play Now with the default roster, I can import the one team from my custom roster to play with.

This would make more sense than historic teams. They're really more of a pain than they're worth.

I think they should put historic rosters back in for Madden 11 or at least Team Builder.

I havent touched a historic team since the first time they were introduced back on the Genesis when they didn't even have names.

Ditto what everyone has been saying. The historic rosters just added a lot of extra unneeded "fluff" to the game. No names, numbers are almost always wrong, along with player colors (one year Joe Montana was a black QB). Anyway, just dump it and focus on the good stuff.
