I Cant Stop The Qb Sneak with less than 1yd to Go!!!

Maybe It's just me......But I have been playing in this league with friends for $$$ and it pisses me off that the last few games i've been in trouble on the goal line or 4th & inches or 4th & 1 and I havent stopped anyone yet. Luckily a few of them didnt hurt as either I was already up substantially or went back down on the next drive & scored.

I hae tried 46 bear, goalline d, 3-4, i've blitzed all the backers tried everything i can but i feel like a *short bus all star* when it comes to this any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I've only tried this once, but I chose Punt Block and he tried to sneak it and I stopped him.

Goal line- Jam Middle is a great play if you're certain he's running. Check his formation first and if it appears he's running then choose this play, control your MLB and go through the gap between the DT and the DE and you should stop them most of the time.

tighten your dline... do run commit and blitz your lbs.

Be sure he's sneaking tho cos if he throws ur f***ed.

I believe the animation is busted in 09 and sped up to fast...I believe Ian said in one of these threads that this issue has been addressed and QB sneaks were not a guarantee this year (Madden X).

It will be fixed for 10. Same with FB dive. It was one of the earlier blogs.

I always throw screen plays out of a power formation on 3rd/4th and really short. I always get a "WTF?!!??! OMG!!! I did not see that coming!" and you pick a big chunk of yards.
