How does NCAA's player generator work and why couldnt it work fo madden?

It just hit me while i was reading through the other thread that NCAA uses a player generator as far as i know they never get players with 99 spd and 75 acc. They do sometimes get 230 pound Rbs with 60 strength, but for the most part all of thier players are well crafted. And overall their Dynasty mode has been much more functional than Madden's since we made the jump to next gen.

What do they do exactly. Why couldn't this work in madden?

I present you with this

That is a good question. And its kinda real that sometimes a 230 back has 60 because sometimes big players arent strong

99 speed an 75 accl was only an example...players generated from ncaa arent that screwy but you dont get the most realistic prospects neither...

Good question indeed. NCAA does generate pretty realistic players.

In 09 they always had 6'7 receivers that ran the 40 in 4'18 and had 99 acc later in the dynasty they would have skilled position players playing lineman because there werent enough of them.

those are only a few problems that i have noticed

Yeah, NCAA does fairly well at this.

I would love to see a modified version of that system in Madden rather than the hand-crafted players.

NCAA has done a good job with getting random players to be fairly realistic. After a few years you will start to notice some odd things though. One glaring problem is DTs seem to always have better moves than DEs. I could see DTs generally having more power than DEs but not finesse moves.
