There has been alot of griping on this board about sock stripes and Superbowl patches, and (for goodness sakes) hand towels. Someone actually had the nerve to complain that the hand towels that we now have in the game are no good because they can't be moved to any part of the waistband.

When I was a kid, we were glad to have a green colored field...

Put into that perspective, a few poorly placed stripes on a jersey aren't so bad, now are they?

As far as I am concerned, the graphics are AS GOOD AS THEY EVER NEED TO GET. Dynamic game-play and interactive AI should be the primary goals in years to come. A game that looks real and plays like Techmo Bowl is unacceptable.

We've all seen the next gen screenshots of RG3, no need to repost. I can see his damn pores, people. And you're STILL complaining about graphics. The graphics are now so realistic that during actual gameplay you can't tell the difference from one console to the next. And yet, the gameplay itself is still suffering.

As long as pickup-and-play for the casual user is still EA's priority, they will continue to have sub-standard sim gameplay. I get that you need to show off the new machine's graphical ability, but without even basic football stuff like fully featured create-a-play, fatigue, and real-time animations running full time, this game will always be a shadow of what it could be.

Ask yourselves this question: you can see the entire stadium reflected in RG3's eyeball, but is the gameplay better than Madden 2005 or NFL 2k5?

The Atari and Comidore(sp) 64 were the days where games came by the thousands every month lol
