Practice Mode

What would you think if our general practice mode had the players looking like this?

Was just running through old Madden screens and passed by one showing the RB mini-game. Just a little curious on thoughts.

Re: Practice Mode

Nice touch but even me the ocd detail guy doesn't feel the need for it.

I'd call this a maybe next year addition.

Re: Practice Mode

Yeah I don't feel the need for it either. Practice mode does need more depth gamplay wise though. I mean come on the practice mode is madden is dull as hell and lifeless.

We need a situation simulation or something!

Overall I just would like some downs to work with instead of re-doing the same play in the same spot. Gets kind of old!!

Re: Practice Mode

This isn't completely relating to the topic, but

I remember once upon a time practice mode used to be fun.

I remember throwing a pick to the D on purpose so I could try to lay them out with an OL .. now? The whistle blows and a new play starts when the ball is turned over.

I remember playing on D, and not having to wait 20 seconds for the offense to hike the ball, in PRACTICE MODE!

I remember being able to set any conditions I wanted.

Basically .. why was all the freedom taken away from practice mode? It puzzles me to death that they actually took the time to take the freedom out, and replace it with .. music. Yes, music.

Re: Practice Mode

I would be happy with Practice Squads for Franchise Mode.
