2. Take out the mini-games and just put that under practice too.

3. Speaking of mini-games (now apart of practice mode), bring back some of the last-gen drills like LB chase/tackle, DB swat and the kicker/ punter drills.

4. Take out the "virtual" in the virtual trainer, and just make that apart of practice mode.

5. Allow players to run an "in-game" drill, which would give you possession from anywhere on the field, and attempt to score (or prevent the other team from scoring).

6. I think it would be awesome if they could implement EA Backtrack into practice

7. Bring back the 2-minute drill

8. Please please please PLEASE bring back the old-gen playcalling system. (not the system per say) I want to be able to call a random play from the entire playbook, one formation, the variations of a formation (e.g. I-form, I-form Twin) or from play types (short pass, pitch, inside run, etc.) or plays from player personnel (plays where the WR1 is the primary receiver, plays where the FB, or RB is the primary player, etc.) Please bring this back. Same for the Defense.

9. Take out the "virtual" in the virtual trainer, and just make that apart of practice mode.

10. Also can we bring back the play recap (yards gained, avg yards per play, etc.)

11. This may be a little farfetched, but if the Backtrack could work in conjunction with the new Adaptive AI, that would be AMAZING! So if i'm on defense and the other player's WR is constantly beating my DB with a route or a certain move, when my team or player begins adapting, Backtrack would kick in and show me what's going wrong. That would be awesome.

12. Take out the "virtual" in the virtual trainer, and just make that apart of practice mode.

13. I think that if you could have play editor in practice (maybe for franchise only), that would be awesome as well.

14. Put practice mode into franchise.

15. Take out the "virtual" in the virtual trainer, and just make that apart of practice mode.

Recap:
- Take out the "virtual" in the virtual trainer, and just make that apart of practice mode.
- Use of backtrack
- Make mini-games apart of practice
- Bring back the old way of calling plays (for random plays)
- Have a play/ drive recap
- Have all of this in franchise mode too
- Have a play editor for franchise mode

Mofficial had some pretty good idea's also. The dome was thought up by Maximus 205. I would think that the only reason to play in a dome is because of bad weather, so if there were dome's wouldn't make much sense if you could control the out come of the weather.

Also Maximus 205 also had a pretty good idea with the EA rewind if that was staying in which I believe it will possibly. Use it for the running game also instead of just the passing game.

Say you hit a hole that closed up pretty quickly when you should have hit a different one to point out where you could have gotten the most yardage. I thought that would be pretty neat and also for it to be implemented into practice.

I mean it does make sense to implement it in practice to tell you what you did wrong. Maybe even on the defensive side of the ball also.

Yes, Rewind would be good in practice mode as well, perfect for helping you learn from your mistakes.

To OP, I think I would like a system setup up exactly like you described. Its almost like a practice mode in a fighter game where you can tell the computer what you do/dont want them to do so you can practice situational stuff.

If they just added 5 of the suggestions from this thread I would be impressed. Practice mode is alright right now, and would be outstanding with some of these ideas added.

Re: Is Practice mode getting any attention for Madden 10?

Practice jerseys should be something that EA should also add to practice mode. I mean it's practice!. teams shouldn't be wearing their game jerseys at practice, In real life teams practice with Plain jerseys ,and plain white pants. If EA did this in Madden 10, practice mode would feel more like practice mode. I mean does anyone else think this would be a good addition to practice mode? EA should consider doing this, i don't think this would be difficult to do. it's not anything major but it's a good addition to have. SO IAN OR SOMEONE COULD U CONSIDER THIS??
