I dont play madden for PC, but still, no excuses

You cant blame pirates for ruining your sales. look at counter-strike and world of warcraft. you cant pirate those games because they come with serial keys. you guys can do the same, then you wouldnt have anyone downloading madden. everyone would be forced to buy it. i just feel bad for those madden pc gamers who now have no football game to play. its really not fair..

you must not have heard of key generators, you can download almost any PC game. The problem with downloading a game like those you mentioned is all the expansions and with WOW you have a monthly fee to play the game so it is pointless to pirate.

Uh, what? 'Console guys' have been getting the 'fun', upgrades, new gen graphics, etc while the PC game has been roster update after roster update for years. Your arrogance nor your ignorance is not appreciated.

Key-gen or not, EA is at fault for not being able to keep up with improving securities layers other companies are implementing into their software. As OP mentioned, games like CS and Crysis are extremely difficult to crack, and even if you do manage to do so, the game is disabled after detection - which often just takes login online to its servers. Don't blame the PC crowd for EA's shortcomings.

LOL stuff like this cracks me up. What I meant about letting the console guys have some fun, was the fact that many people consider the PC to be a superior gaming platform to consoles when orchestrated correctly so at least let us have Madden. PC gamers get CIV IV, Rise of Nations, WOW etc. So next time before you spout off about someone else's ignorance please know what the hell you are talking about. Stop the "internet thug" routine

Anyways . . . As far as manufacturers go, there's been a clear trend of the market shifting towards console gaming. Consoles will never completely replace PC gaming, but you bet the consoles will push the video game industry to near market saturation over time. So please, enough of your ignorance and hatred. After all, how could you argue against a game being more widely available via different platforms?
