I would rather have custom playbooks, and it looks like they've been axed already.

I like having custom controller config though. It makes things easier.

At first I was mad that we couldn't have the controls from the PS2/XBOX days but now I am comfortable with the default controls. Having said that, I wish there was an option to change each button.

I need custom controls badly because each of my controllers has one thing broken. so if I use one controller then my QB is constantly pump faking and my runners are always covering the ball. If I use the other controller than I can't kick straight to save my life. I couldn't really do anything about kicking, but if I could map my own controller then I could make RB irrelevant and actually get through a game without sounding like Red Fox

Its is all about making the product more user friendly. Thats all I want. I have games that you can sign each button to a different thing and than save it to your profile. I beleive some EA games are like this also.

Yes..I do like to have the option of being able to change the configuration to my liking.

With Madden '08', I changed the default cover up ball from the RB to LT. Because it was easier for me to get at....a lot.

Just another nice option to have imo.

Seems like another no-brainer to me. Of course, today, all games SHOULD have this. Unless it's hard to do. If not, then......

with football, i dont mind if they lock it into 1. That way everyone is on a level playing field when playing one another. Just keep everything even.
