Personally I would have put him around 56-58.

As for the first part of your post, I don't know if that target is the right thing to use. A full sheet of plywood sounds a little better for those two.
okay... im not a 65, said that for dramatic effect... im prob a 20?!?!?

I tried editing my 09 rosters the other day and put tjacks accuracy at 60- the game is unplayable!!!! I literally could barely complete a pass. try it and see for yourself!!

Put Drew Brees under center in New England in 2007 and you might be changing your tone. Brees had almost no receiver better than average last season, but nearly broke the yardage record (18 short, right?). HE was that teams offense. No Randy Moss, no third string receiver leading the NFL in receptions, etc... Meanwhile, Brady had one of the best receiver corps in NFL history, but prior to that season, with mediocre receivers he put up good but not great numbers.

Tom Brady career rating: 92.9
Drew Brees career rating: 89.4

Tom Brady without Randy Moss career rating: 88.7

So basically, Tom Brady's career passer rating is worse than Drew Brees' without Randy Moss on his team. Meanwhile...

Danta Culpepper career rating with Randy Moss: 91.3
Dante Culpepper career rating without Randy Moss: 80.4

So, when considering the WHOLE package, including intangibles, I think (and have thought for years) that Tom Brady is the best QB in the NFL, but when considering simple production and physical talent (what we can measure), I think Drew Brees takes the cake. Similarly, in the 80s Joe Montana was THE best QB in the NFL in terms of the whole package, but in terms of production, physical talent (basically everything EXCEPT those magical attributes that we can't measure), Dan Marino was.

Based upon what we can measure (with weighting that I am implementing due to the Randy Moss etc effect), Drew Brees is as good or better.

The only thing, in my opinion, that sets Brady apart is that he has demonstrated that he has ice in his veins more so than any other QB in the league.

Re: Bit on quarterback accuracy

Needless to say, short/medium pass accuracy should definitely be 99. Deep ball should be up pretty high most likely too lol
