Will Injuries Get Some Slider Love in '10?

One of the problems currently in Madden '09 franchises is that there is no reason to bring in decent back ups. When you played games, players hardly ever got injured, and when they did, it was only for a few plays. Players in the NFL get injured much more, and not only that, but they often get small injuries during games that will take them out a few plays. Can we at least get an injury slider so I can actually worry about bringing in depth, since some of my players can get injured? This along with reworked stamina will go a long way in making franchises more realistic.

Thoughts?

I could be wrong but I believe this was confirmed to be in through a screen shot that was shown in one of the blogs.

Maybe someone else can confirm this though.

If so then I may as well pre-order the game now.

Madden's injurys have been either on/off. Nothing else. A slider is a must have.

Also, there needs to be some attention being done to the players on the field. I know this has been said 1000 times but this needs addressed. When a player in Madden get hurt he just lays there then gets up holding his arm. Thats all good but why would you hold your arm when you pull your hamstring.lol

I also recall seeing the mention of an injury slider. I just hope it will actually be effective. The slider does no good if it is not sensitive enough. I play 09 with all of the penalties sliders maxed, except holding and you still do not see enough penalties called. I have my defensive rush sliders all set to 0 to try and get a rush game out of the CPU. So I will be happy to see the inclusion of an injury slider and even more excited if it actually works.

Yep, that's the key. We need to make sure they actually work so players can actually get injured.

There will be an injury slider in Madden 10.

It was confirmed in the customization blog IIRC.

I hope they have wide ranging numbers to that slider....Injuries are very important.
