Im different, i always check out the redskins equipment then make changes. If there is ealocker i will be doing equipment edits for all
with ps3 of course

i do a quick play and play last seasons superbowl with winning team.then i start a franchise,which is usually the team with the worst record

I guess you'd have to seeing as how your a Lions fan.

I check out the menus then I go to practice mode.

Same goes for me. I play qiuck game just to see how the all of the new features and how it plays.

After spending a good 20min. trying to open the game and getting disapointed by the poor instruction booklet, I turn the game on and let it go through all of it's opening cinimatics. If the opening credits and what not are cool, I will rewatch them most times I turn the game on, if not I know to skip it. [I always watch the intro of any new game I buy. OCD?]

Next I fumble through the menues and try to find the rosters and look through the 49ers and Patriots, then other teams and then sort by age and look at the rookies. Recently I like to go to superstar and that is a better way to look at the rookie class, then quit SS mode. Once I have a good idea what the rosters look like I try and find any Football 101 or tutorials to show me the new features. Next I play a few "Play Now" games on All-Pro. I like to do 49ers at Raiders in the afternoon, the Giants at 49ers in the rain at night, then Colts at Patriots in the snow. These are great matchups. I ty to do rival games. Chicago at GB, Raiders at KC, etc.

Once I have a good feel for the game, and if I am still playing, I will start up some franchise mode.
