Non-Contact Injuries

I'd love to see non-contact injuries happen in 10.

Things like...

Camping
Strained Hammy
Rolled Ankle
Spained Knee
Hyper extended knee
Pulled muscle/Charlie horse (man, I remember how this felt)

...it'd be cool to see a guy just pull up limping and hobble off the field signaling for a backup to take his place. Then, they'd come back onto the field after a little treatment..

Any thoughts on this?

Exactly, and the core of the idea would be to have things that take place away from the ball as well. Again, immersion.

Re: Non-Contact Injuries

Here is a example from All Pro. I hate to start 2k/EA comparison but would like to give an example from a prior game. I think it would be more authentic if this could happen.

Re: Non-Contact Injuries

Cramping would be a nice touch on extremely hot days.

Re: Non-Contact Injuries

Would love it and hate it at the same time. Love the realism it would bring. Hate my player falling over in the middle of the play.

If they have this it has to work right. Fatigue needs to be a factor in it.

If Madden 10 has the same progressive injury system that head coach had i could see this being a great addition to the game
