Well either way you look at it, I'd rather play an arcady game with real NFL teams and stadiums, instead of one with generic ones. And that's IF M10 ends up being an "arcady' game. I have the confidence in Ian's team to say that I don't think M10 will be an arcade-like experience.

Backbreaker is nothing but a glorified tech demo for the euphoria engine. We have absolutely no clue how the game will play. All we know is the tech behind it. We haven't an idea about playbooks, A.I, controls etc....There are waaay more question marks on BB than there is for M10. If you deny that, you're obviously delusional.

I have a bad feeling about Backbreaker. Between the stadiums and the player models, I simply cannot imagine it's being developed as a sim.

Am I the only one that thinks that the player models and textures in Backbreaker look terrible. It's going to be a HUGE failure.

Its set in a futuristic league. Like 2100 or something.

Its meant to be over the top bonecrushing.

To appeal to the broader market, it won't be geared 100% towards sim like Madden 10.

I'll probably get Backbreaker after I'm bored with NCAA and Madden

This post reeks of ignorance and insecurity. You bring up old arguments from 2007 and don't know anything about BB other than Euphoria. You say you''d rather play an arcadey game with NFL teams, but I bet you're bluffing. I guess the Devs will have to prove themselves to the naysayers at E3. You'll then be blown away and have to choose with your brain or your heart. Your brain will say BB, your heart will say Madden; the battle of logic and emotions.

I also think the focus is different. I think Backbreaker is really designed to put you down on the field, and that's cool. All I'm really getting at is that Backbreaker isn't going to give the people who are longing for a new 2k5 what they're looking for.

I appreciate your kind words. /sarcasm.

Seriously though, I'm far from insecure. In fact, I can't imagine what I'd be insecure about. Like I said, there is not much information out there about BB other than the sheer awesomeness of the tackle animations and the incredible crowd A.I. Maybe it will blow me away after E3, I'm not saying that I'm not open-minded about the game. I'd like to see it succeed in fact. I just can't see anything RIGHT NOW that would indicate that they can compete with EA for "football game supremacy".

You seem to be a BB supporter, that's fine, I'm not going to knock your passion for the potential behind BB. Just know that you don't have enough ammo to try and convince anyone yet. It's all hype and speculation at this point.
