Future Blog Suggestion: Breaking the Pocket

Ok Ian and Co you want another great way to turn those doubters/non believers back into Madden Maniacs?????

Id love to see a blog in the future, with a vid where all you do is just try and scramble and break the pocket..........alias "Roll and Chuck Cheese"


1.Take Roethlisberger for 2-3 minutes and run "Scramble Right, Scramble Left...Get Open"

2. Then take Manning or Brady and run the same stuff.


The differences (or the lack there of) Should be telling and one of the most basic ways really to see if we've moved this game in the right direction. Tons of feedback would be gained IMO

Obviously I wouldn't expect a blog like this for while, but its something for you to chew on Ian if you really want to wow the crowd that lurks around here

Well yeah that would suck......but Ian has never been one to shy away from a lacking area of the game.

At the very least this would be a great starting tool for 11 to make the differences in play between B-Roeth and Manning/Brady show up in the game.

LOL...yep. i believe he's coming back but I'm a little sceptical if he's still got it or not. He's been gone for what 2, 3 yrs. That has a very long lasting effect on a player.

And then after that he will not be reinstated this yr maybe in 2010 or 11. He may not have it anymore.

Its just not the same with VY lol. Yeah they should audible up and down. Break the pocket. And do stupid crap to show how all the cheese has been shredded.

I also like the idea. But like you said, I don't expect to see something like this anytime soon.
