His Catch in Traffic would be N/A. Meaning, he would not even step on any part of the field inside the hash marks. Hot routes wouldn't work, nothing.

Re: If ratings really mean something this year, than EA should....

Usain Bolt is the fastest human being... EVER... to walk the face of the earth. EVER. I watched Tyson Gay run against a handfull of the "fastest" college football players, guys with 4.2 speed, at the Olympic trials in Eugene last year. I was even fortunate enough to watch Tyson in person break the world record (even if it was wind aided--also I saw him tear his hammy up in person).

that said, did anyone see what happened to Gay when he ran against Bolt in the Olymipcs? Embarrassing.

So: Gay = Faster than the fastest college football players (who will eventually be the fastes NFL players), Usain Bolt = faster than Tyson Gay. Usain Bolt = faster than anyone... EVER. If he is a 95 in pads, then the next fastest guy in Madden 10 had better be an 80, because Bolt is a phenom.

Yeah for speed training. I've run towing 20kg sleds. I'm sure U. Bolt can run towing 50 kg sleds. Some 3 kg pads won't slow him down.

In a 100 yard race WITH pads on and a football in hand, I'd take $100 on Reggie Bush vs Bolt

I would bet my entire college tuition on Bolt. If he couldn't beat him in a 100 yard race without pads, what makes you think that he could beat him with pads on?

Reggie Bush is fast, and he is quick, which translates into great football speed. But if you are talking about a 100 yard race... quickness doesn't matter.

Just watch and keep in mind that these are the fastest people in the world: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=io8t2CHGNb4

Keep in mind, I'm not a track guy. However, I am logical. To claim that ANYONE on ANY football field is as fast as Usain Bolt is just silly. What this has to do with Madden... who knows?

Firstly, I've never seen anyone run a 100 yard race.

Secondly, yeah right Reggie Bush.

Usain Bolt would walk the last 20 metres and still win.

The same could be said about any sprinter, but the fact of the matter is that not every person's speed, even fast people who train on their speed, translates well into running with pads.
