Re: To avoid having people screw the ratings up

Why would you want this? It doesnt make sense to limit a players stats just because it will avoid people screwing up ratings. Why would it matter to you? You have to play online with rosters made by EA so people cant edit them and if they are playing offline then I say let them do whatever they want.

If my nephew wants me to give his entire team 99 speed and play on rookie...wait that might be me j/p...Then I should be able to do it.

If you are thinking some players are rated to fast for where they play online with the EA rosters then Im sorry but I am a fan of giving players attributes they deserve. If Vick is on the field then I expect him to run past the D like they are standing still.

There should be NO limits to what the player can edit about a player in the single player game.

Plus, a lot of those positions are bad, OL/DL should probably be 70-75 tops, QB/TE/LB at 80-85 tops.
Those are bad too because there will always be guys who are faster than the "Modeled" player for each position. You have Vick at QB, Davis at TE, Peppers at DE, Tommie Harris at DT, Urlacher and Lawson at LB. Basically having a "Cap" for each position would be a very bad idea.

I agree with DeLux.... Single player mode should be open for anyone to do whatever they want.
