The slips happen often. Thats a good thing, but even with the slipping, they forgot to add one thing. Traction is still the same as a good weather game while playing. I cant recall which Madden this was in, but there was one version where acceleration was actually hindered by bad weather. They should add that back in for 2010.

I personally have never seen that kind of slip while playing.

But I really haven't played a whole lot of '09' though. That animation is pretty cool.

I have never had a player slip on their own. Little things like this really help immerse you in the feeling of a heavy rain game. Hopefully we can see more things like this in 10 when it rains and snows.

Have others had this occur much? I was curious because I play 09 a lot and this is the first time I have had it happen.

I know the kicking game is staying the same so my wish to have wind push kicks right or left is gone but is there anything new on the weather front for 10 that we know of yet?
really? that happens to me almost every time it is really rainy or snowy...

I recall seeing this with Devin Hester on a kick return. I kinda like the idea that a rainy/snowy game would cause a player to not be as fast. I really hope that it effects how the ball is thrown this year. But with Ians format of how to judge accurate a pass is it didnt state anything about the weather. Maybe I am reading into it to much but...

I have seen it mentioned a couple of times, the jist was that they have more important fish to fry so they can't address it this year. It is in threads where it is talked about how easy the kicking game is and never missing FGs.
