LOL..what is there a "anti-trailer" minimum that we have to meet here at OS?

Ian has shut off his PM's as of a few weeks ago. He was getting too many and it's hunker down time at EA.

Has anyone read the Ian thread? Geez, he said there are some critical issues to tune the game trailer, animations is one of them.
Critical issues??

We have critical issues in the Middle East. Replacing the current engine that runs madden is what needs to be done. Until then animations and gameplay will never meet expectations of a true sports fan. It'll appease the arcade side of the fan base.

What EA needs is some competition.

He only said that to try and calm down the threads and all that. He knew when people saw the same things from last year that there would be people hating the game.

It's amazing the power you have reading someone's mind on a message board.

Try thousands. You must have missed the 100 page thread about it the night it was released.

This is how it's been since it came on the next gen.
How has it been that way since the beginning of this gen when Ian started talking to us last year?

Really this year is the first year in which Ian has basically full say into what gets put into the game. You act like it has been a trend when really, this is the first year this gen in which Ian has been giving us full feedback.

Re: Was anyone else extremely disappointed from the trailer?

I was dissapointed with the trailer for the same reasons many thousands of others were.

I'm not blaming Ian , I just feel the engine they use is not a solid engine , and isn't capable of producing a smooth fluid game.

They also need to showcase a video where SIM ball is being displayed.
That trailer showed arcade style football. I understand it was on a easy level, but the major concern was the fact that Madden has turn to the arcade side and they (EA) expressed in this forum that they are going SIM all the way.

We need to see Sim Football. I think once they showcase Sim football a ton of us will calm down.
