No, you have to press A again after selecting a play. Then it would skip the rotating camera.

I really think the camrea part is just fine to me. Best thing for you to do is bro. Is to just pick your play real fast before you get totally sick and throw up everywhere. But other then that the camera thing looks fina to me.
