I know the game has yet to come out, and I will reserve final judgment until then, but from what I could hear of commentating in the Jimmy Fallon video, it still doesnt sound that great. I just dont think Hammond will ever cut it, and while I dont mind Collinsworth, I dont know if he is really a good fit either.

Like I said, Ill officially make up my mind when I hear what is in the final product. My question is, do you think this duo can/will cut it as Madden commentators going forward?

My guess is - if they ever want to do it - Joe Buck and Troy Aikman.

I agree with this.

They are a team in real life. Collinsworth is pretty good and we all know Michaels works. Just record them together, make it sound like a real broadcast, and there ye be.

So apparently this means they are having the same stale unrealistic, robotic play by play by play as lastyear? I haven't been keeping up.

I've always been a fan of Dick Emberg and Dan Diedorf. But i seriously doubt they would transfer over to a video game very well. But like someone said, i'd go with Troy Aikman and Joe Buck if they ever did switch. I didnt play 09 all but 1 game, and hammond made me want to take a nap during that game. Hopefully, they gave him 10 redbulls and had him reread his lines.
