Why do people get worked up over ratings?

I call that the ESPN Top Ten method of rating. Same thing NBA 2K9 is using. These guys (EA/2K) see the game (football/bball) as highlights and not X's and O's. Hopefully EA has changed it's way

Donny already said that one never should have happened and will be significantly lower this year.

Agreed. Tom Brady is a touch passer, his stats should reflect that.

He's a very good system/checkdown QB. His ratings should reflect that.

He is not Brett Favre, and he's not going to be gunning the ball between linebackers. That's not his game, and his ratings should reflect that.

Well that's good to know. Why then did he give the strong-armed Pat White an 85 THP rating then? It should be a 92 at least.
