Not a bad idea. I think guys who are rated below 60 should be automatically "deleted" from the game after 2 years of inactivity or something similar.

PLayers that are too low, or are under a certain overall threshold are wiped from the game in madden 09 already.

So if you have a QB who's overall is 12, he will be wiped from the database after the season. This is already in 09.

Just because you're UDFA doesn't mean you can't become a hall of famer.

Yea like everyone else said players would need to be deleted. I would like to see all of those players in listed in free agency though

They need a separate section of free agency for undrafted free agents.

And really i dont think they would create that much of an overload. If your an UDFA for 2009 and you dont make a roster then your most likely out of football for good. Madden could leave them in through the FA signings after the 2009 season and then remove them from the database as part of the 2010 draft setup to clean them out. That way only UDFA who made a roster during their rookie season would linger on beyond their given draft year.
