You just love to bash Madden dont you? So madden didnt have fatigue therefore its just as bad as backyard football? Yes Madden had plenty of flaws but your taking it too far there.

If I can find this game under 20 I will buy it just to play non cheesers online. As I cant deal with that Robo Qb again lol.

Of the numerous problems '09' had, one of the biggest is...it's just so damn boring to play.

Might want to just rent it for a few days. $3.00 may get the "bug" outta your system.

You stated one fact, fatigue. Yes it is a flaw but is that reason to say go get backyard football?

You ever wonder why all the references are to 2k football when people complain about madden? Come check out why... it'll only cost you probably 5-10 dollars.

I honestly can't get enough of this game. The concept of building teams and playing with that INSANE gameplay engine is just so fun.

I've tried to play other video games but they just don't compare. If you go online check out the 2k gridiron league. They are the longest running 2k football league... something like 20+ seasons on the ps3!

The game feels different. It's slower, you have to plan your moves before you make them. It's intentional.

Again.. I've been gaming since my hands could hold a controller and this is my favorite game of all time.
Really sounds good, how is the franchise/season in APF?

typical fanboy BS....APF was awful the entire game was a very "dumbed" down version of 2k5 which is the best football game I have played....

You don't have to think about your plays anymore than you have to on Madden....

The gameplay is ok but it isn't all that good....

I have played every system except Atari...and this ranks down there with some of the worst I have ever played ( right under Farcry 2 on the Wii)

I regret spending even 12 dollars on this abomination...

That's the problem with APF. There's NO replayability offline.

I play in online leagues with a strong community of guys that play very SIM. It's extremely enjoyable for me.

If you are looking for offline modes I wouldn't suggest APF... then again if you are just looking for a football "fix" it might work I don't know.

And to the fanboy hate... I'm just stating my opinion. It is how *I* see things. Regarding no thought in playcalling.... this game is pure chess. Once you actually learn how to call a defense, offense becomes a LOT more difficult. You can't rely on your crutch plays... I'll lock anything down.

Basically APF is great if you are looking for online matches and the best gameplay on the planet. If you are looking for offline features, season modes, franchise it just isn't there. Many people don't like this. I don't play any offline anything outside of practice mode so it doesn't affect me, but it might bother you.

Honeslty though nothing has ever come close to feeling like playing a real sport. The struggle feels so real it's awesome.

Again for all the angry forum kids... JUST MY OPINION

I think APF is the greatest football game of all time as well. Does that make me a fanboy?
