You will still be able to do subs w/ the new playbook

I know that some people were wondering if you will still be able to sub players with the new "old school" playbook (including me):

Didn't notice it in the jimmy vid until a few minutes ago .

Yeah, the sub screen is still there, but the extras in the PIP are gone. I didn't use them much, to be honest, so I'm not concerned about that. I dislike this playcall screen because of the buttons.

It's just not intuitive in the least. I'm sure I'll get used too it, but it'll never been intuitive. I like my menus to be instinctive right off the bat. Good menus are simple, become instinctive almost immediately, and don't require you to search the screen for button indicators.

Unfortunately, Microsoft apparently has a rule that the "B" button can only be used to go backwards, not forward, which explains why they changed it in the first place. I would have pushed for this change myself, but the moment I found out I'd have to make "Y" the far right play rather than "B", I would have scrapped it.

EDIT: On the plus side, they put the field position in the score bug since CD!

I hope its not the same as 09, having to browse through left or right to get to your players, select them and then pick a different player to switch with. I myself liked 2k's way of doing it with just having a "switch hb" or "switch wr's". hard to explain this, but those of you that have played 2k5 will know what im talking about. just my preference. not sure why someone wants to replace the linemen? unless tired.

Can we still hide our plays like in 09? Really liked that, so I could let the my friends guess what i'm going to do, not let him get a good look at what i'm about to run?

The old school style play calling screen. Simple and easy. Sweet I love it to death already.
