One of my biggest issues with Madden, hopefully being fixed for 10

I've been keeping up with the blogs and so much of it sounds very promising. But I'm still yet to see one word about one of the most glaring issues with the game for a really long time, and that's the sidelines. The fact that we're into next gen and you STILL can't throw near the sidelines without your receiver going into some goofy animation and the ball sailing over their head until they catch it out of bounds is rather embarrassing. This is something that should of been fixed years ago.

Is there going to be a fix on this, FINALLY, or what? Because I've seen nothing about it, unless I missed something.

I know that one of the blogs addressed a new technology that tweaked animations on or near the sidelines to allow receivers to get two feet down when in previous games they would not have.

I'm not sure if that directly addresses what you are asking, but you should do a little more digging.

I've been looking, I haven't seen anything on it. It's been the single most annoying issue in Madden for me, that WR's and QB's simply play like the sidelines aren't even there.

They have said they are going to do a couple of things. One is to have WR's slow down as the approach the sidelines. Another is to have the WR's turn up field sooner as they make the catch to avoid going out of bounds.

We have yet to see video evidence of either of these however.

He did - definitly. It was one of the March blogs I think

They had a bunch of "green grid" videos as well, showing how it's supposed to work.
