I don't think Madden has had the mechanics to require / support it yet. After watching some of the vidoes, and seeing the separation that happens they still may not. I noticed that there is separation, but then the CBs close again on them, so shading may not be important based on Madden's game mechanics.

Information is trickling out. The lack of shading would be nice, but it doesn't concern me so much as the defensive assist I just read about which is looks to be a tool to help inept players and/or to cover for the game's poor defensive mechanics.

I guess you have no idea what defensive assist is then.

You know when you're on defense and your like the safety. The other 10 defenders have defensive assist....

Now lets say mid play, you're the safety and you press defensive assist, now all 11 defenders have defensive assist.

Wasn't shading in last gen? I'm like 99.9% sure it was. Wasn't really effective though.
