Sometimes the stats do lie. Football is the ultimate team sport and if one area is lacking ex. S. Merriman(pass rush), then whole looks bad Cromartie included

Actually, looking at some of the ratings for other players, 77 seems like it might be pretty damn good this year. But I didn't really keep up with the 'Skins this year, so maybe he deserves the big jump...I'd think that a 9 point overall increase when there hasn't been a single down is a bit suspect, even if it happened to Richard Marshall. But who knows, maybe he deserves it.

Jammer did alright. He is ranked as the 13th best corner last season.

My two cents: Jammer had an inconsistent, but solid season. He got torched by the Chiefs and Falcons, but played great against the Colts and Patriots. At the end of the season Jammer ended up with some very impressive numbers. He is far from a ball hawk picking off just one pass in 85 attempts, but his impressive YPA and solid forced incompletion percentage was good enough to earn him a spot in the top 15


comparing the two. Cromartie was attempted at 3 times more, gave an extra 5 YPA, forced incomplete 25% less.

Would you trade all this for 1 more interception.

Cromartie was bad. He goes up against the opponents #2 receiver. Jammer had a solid season. Cromartie had a really bad season and the Madden ratin should reflect this.

Donny if you are gonna take up D. Hall then take up Fabian Washington and Dominique Foxworth. Foxworth not by much since he's already ok, but Fabian was right there where Hall was.

He will get Merriman back to help force crap throws and create opportunities for INTs. If I got Shawne bearing down on a terrified QB that's throwing my direction, I'd even have a pick or two.
