Best Madden game for last gen xbox?

Madden 05 was the last great Madden game.Everything you need,great gameplay,great franchise...lord franchise was the sh*t that year player morales,team newspapers,rivals,Tony Bruno show,colored cleats and tape,the hit stick,man 2005 was a great year for football,and it hasn't been the same since!

Madden 05 was the peak of last gen Madden's. I would take 05 graphics over 09 anyday.

I have a 360 and I still play my 08 franchise on xbox. i think the last madden for current gen was 08 for the xbox.they stopped after that,thats why you cant find 09,it doesn't exist for xbox.

09 does exist. Originally you had to purchase it online only. however i was in best about two weeks ago, and they had it for sale on the shelf. i had to do a dbl take. this was in virginia beach btw

A place called Movie trading company had it heree too, only 24$, i was thinking about purchasing it, than i remembered no madden games are backwards capable yet....

^i hope they become backwards compatible soon. I been thinking of buying an original xbox for 50 bucks just so I can play madden 09 on last gen. Last gen gameplay was the best.

Me too, i cant understand why the 360 wont make em compatible!
